RF Skin Tightening Facial

  • No needles, no numbing. Comfortable, noninvasive treatment using radiofrequency heat.

  • Zero downtime. Get right back to your day.

  • Targets: Mild skin laxity, fine lines, and overall firmness.

  • Best for: Preventative care, collagen maintenance, and gradual skin tightening.

RF Microneedling

  • Needles + radiofrequency heat. Works deeper to stimulate collagen production and remodeling.

  • Expect downtime. Redness, swelling, and sensitivity typically last 1–3 days, sometimes longer.

  • Targets: Acne scars, wrinkles, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and skin laxity.

  • Best for: More noticeable correction and deeper collagen remodeling, typically with a series of treatments.

RF Microneedling: Frequently Asked Questions

Does RF microneedling hurt?

I'm not going to pretend you're getting a relaxing facial, but it's very manageable. We use topical numbing cream before your treatment to keep you comfortable. You'll feel some pressure, warmth, and occasional prickling, but most clients tolerate it really well.

What's the difference between regular microneedling and RF microneedling?

Traditional microneedling creates tiny controlled injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production. RF microneedling takes it a step further by delivering radiofrequency heat into the deeper layers of the skin. This combination helps remodel collagen, improve texture, and address skin laxity. Think microneedling with a little extra muscle.

What does RF microneedling actually treat?

RF microneedling is one of my favorite treatments because it addresses multiple concerns at once, including:

  • Acne scars and uneven texture

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Enlarged pores

  • Mild skin laxity and loss of firmness

  • Crepey skin

  • Overall skin texture and quality

How many treatments will I need?

Most clients benefit from a series of three treatments, typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Your skin concerns, goals, and how your skin responds will determine your treatment plan. Some people need more, and maintenance treatments can help keep results looking their best.

When will I see results?

You might notice an initial glow once the redness settles, but the real results take time. Collagen doesn't rebuild overnight. Most clients begin noticing improvements within 4–6 weeks, with continued changes over the following 3–6 months.

What's the downtime?

Expect redness, warmth, and possibly some swelling for the first 24–48 hours. Your skin may also feel rough, tight, or slightly dry as it heals. Occasionally, tiny treatment marks can stick around a little longer. I'll walk you through aftercare so you know exactly what to expect.

Will RF microneedling tighten loose skin?

Yes, it can improve mild to moderate skin laxity by stimulating collagen remodeling. It's great for improving firmness and crepey texture, but it's not a replacement for a surgical lift. Realistic expectations are important, and I'll always be upfront about what a treatment can and can't accomplish.

Am I a good candidate?

RF microneedling can be appropriate for a wide range of skin types and tones, but not everyone is a candidate. Active skin infections, certain medical conditions, implanted electronic devices, pregnancy, and some medications or treatments may make RF microneedling unsuitable. We'll review your health history and skin before moving forward.

Can I combine RF microneedling with other treatments?

Absolutely, with the right timing. RF microneedling can complement other treatments targeting pigmentation, texture, and overall skin health. That doesn't mean we should throw every treatment at your face in one appointment, though. A thoughtful treatment plan will get you much further than doing everything at once.

Are the results permanent?

The collagen remodeling can produce long-lasting improvements, but your skin doesn't stop aging. Sun exposure, lifestyle, and natural collagen loss will continue to affect your skin over time. Maintenance treatments and good home care help protect your investment.
